Rocket League: The Movie?

I like it when stuff is successful and people get excited about the potential that an intellectual property has. I get a little bit sceptical, though, when some of the excitement boils over into unusual directions. Rocket League is, as you probably know by now, a smash hit. The game, which involved cars smashing a giant ball around a pitch and into goals, is insanely fun and being played by millions of people every day. Such has been the popularity that the studio responsible is having all kinds of meetings about the future.
Toys are the obvious start; heck, even I’d love to have my own little Rocket League car (assuming the quality was good!) But there’s also been talk of Rocket League films and TV shows. I can’t quite get behind that unless the TV show involves putting on actual matches of Rocket League with people like Kronovi.
