Polybius – Is it the oddest game this year?
Polybuis is very difficult to explain without playing it yourself, but we’re going to give this a try. As you load up the game you need to prepare because you’re soon to be fully immersed in hypervelocity neon trance space. This virtual reality game takes you to a tranced out state but it’s a very odd world that you may not want to leave. It is said that Polybius draws on more than 30 years of game and music visualizer design experience, making it very smooth running.
So what’s the aim of the game?
Well many of you will remember the classic arcade game Polybius, it’s all about moving through the levels and shooting different shapes, whilst trying not to let the hypnotic background put you off. This game disappeared for some time but it’s great to see it back in a modern format and it really is the perfect virtual reality game.
