Into The Stars: Into early access
Into The Stars is the latest space faring adventure to be published by Iceberg Interactive; a middle of the road publisher who tend to pick up promising projects that fall just a little bit short of their potential. Into The Stars certainly has that; the game is gorgeous, built from the ground up using Unreal Engine 4 your journey through the stars is a sight to behold, as you ferry the last survivors of the human race to your, hopefully, safe destination.
The game has a few stumbling blocks though. The UI is amateurish at best, and downright bad at its worst as your mouse cursor is always visible and any kind of dragging movement highlights text as if in a word document. The camera, too, isn’t responsive enough to mouse movement and needs a rework from the team. The core is there though; beautiful space exploration with some neat ideas – now it needs some more time in the oven.
