When you visit the arcade with your friends you’re bound to run into Pac-Man, and it has been the most popular game in the arcades for years – over 30 to be precise.
What is it that makes Pac-Man so popular?
We’d say that it is one of those games that everyone can relate to and enjoy, whether you’re a 6 year old boy or an 81 year old grandmother. It’s easy to play, and it is very addictive. Pac Man was developed by Namco and while there are now modern versions available of the game, they’ve kept to concept the same, because it never needed changing.
People still enjoy playing retro games today, and Pac-Man is a fine example. It’s fast, easy to follow, and the relief you get when you make it to the next level is huge. It’s still a cracking arcade game and it’s going to be popular for years to come.
