Why is the Wii U Still Struggling?
It’s probably fair to say that the Wii U ales have been poor in comparison to Xbox One sales and PS4 sales. It’s a console that’s struggling to find its audience, but why is failing so miserably.
Firstly, in the modern world people want to see improvements. The Xbox One is a significant improvement on the 360, while the same can be said about the PS4 compared to its younger sibling. That really can’t be said for the Wii U.

Many people still say the Wii is better than its successor the Wii U because it doesn’t have a ‘silly’ controller. There is one little gem that Nintendo will always have to save their day and probably their sales though, and that’s Mario.
Every single Mario game that gets released on the Wii is a huge seller, and it can actually be one of the main reasons why people buy the game in the first place. You can only enjoy Modern Mario on the Wii today, and now the sales have picked up for the next gen consoles they may also pick up for the Wii U.
