Fate Extella: The Umbral Star-Nintendo Switch
Fate Extella has been breaking through the gaming world with the Nintendo Switch since January and has not shown signs of stopping. Originally released for the PS4 and PSP, this Japanese hack and slash RPG taps into the nostalgia and gameplay that brings to mind titles like the Dynasty Warrior Series. The game itself contains three main story campaigns and 11 side stories that can keep a player entertained, especially if the player is into niche Japanese gaming titles, the Fate series, or the Musou (warrior) genre.
One of the things that the game has going for itself, it is that it has over the top action sequences and multiple skills that are represented by each playable character you control, and it does have a plot that fits well into the Fate series. However, the things that go against it are the repetitive nature of the gameplay and the graphics are a little too colourful and over the top at times.
